I love working behind the scenes of successful businesses. That’s my area of expertise. I specialize in finding gaps and challenges in a business’s financial operations and working with owners to implement solutions that work.
In my corporate life, I worked for small to large size businesses, including a multi-million dollar investment firm. Working my way up from Staff Accountant to Corporate Controller, I learned how these companies used the knowledge of their numbers to run profitable businesses year after year.
In 2019, after 20+ years working for others in the corporate world, I was ready to take the leap and start my own bookkeeping firm, Ledger Clarity Bookkeeping.
After seeing business owners trying to do it all and feeling stressed out by their financials, I decided to use my expertise and years of experience to provide them with much needed relief.

The Ocean
I live near Laguna Beach and go there (or nearby beaches) with my family every chance I get. If we can’t get to the beach, we head over to our nearby lake for kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming.
Family
I’m married for over 25 years and have a teenage son who keeps me on my toes, laughing, and inspired.
Podcasts
I listen to several in my industry, as well as storytelling podcasts, like The Moth.
Creativity
I love to lose myself in “art” making activities. Art in my eyes, that is. 😉 Painting, designing succulent gardens, mosaic making, coloring, sewing, knitting, etc.
Music
Impromptu dance parties are my favorite. However, I listen to all kinds of music depending on my mood or what I’m working on.
