Most of my clients are service-based businesses: IT professionals, delivery service providers, investment advisors, commercial realtors, medical groups, therapists, coaches, contractors, boat rental operators, lawyers, marketing professionals, etc.

We may be a good fit if…

  • You are a small, service-based business – with anywhere from 1 to 100 employees.
  • You are located in the United States – I’m located in Mission Viejo, CA and serve clients virtually all over the United States.
  • Your revenue is over $100K per year – some of my clients are in the multi-million dollar range.
  • You need clarity around your numbers – so you can make important business decisions.
  • You are looking to increase your profit margins – so you can pay yourself more of what you bring in.

We may NOT be a good fit if…

  • You are not willing to have your books done in QuickBooks Online.
    Keeping your bookkeeping records in the cloud allows us to work more efficiently, stay better organized, and makes it easier for your CPA or accountant come tax time.
  • You are a retail business with inventory, or a business in the manufacturing or non-profit sectors.
    I don’t love you any less, it’s just a different type of business.
  • You aren’t prepared to view this as a partnership.
    I need to have open communication with you in order to do my job effectively. I promise, I make it surprisingly easy.

Bookkeeping Setup & Training

For when you need help setting up your books and training in bookkeeping best practices, including video training sessions.

This includes:

  • Purchase of your own QuickBooks Online (QBO) account
  • Customized setup of Chart of Accounts specific to your industry and business structure
  • 1-on-1 video training of QBO workflows and bookkeeping best practices
  • Optional monthly and/or quarterly sessions to ensure that you are on the right track and to provide additional training, as needed

Monthly Bookkeeping

For when you need help keeping your books up-to-date, including monthly check-in sessions.

Here’s what it looks like:

  • You’ll arrange for me to have “view only” access to your bank, credit card, and payroll provider accounts. This means you won’t need to go out of your way to send me your statements and payroll reports.
  • Everything will be connected to QuickBooks Online (QBO), so your transactions are automatically pulled in.
  • I’ll go through those transactions and categorize them all, so they flow through to your Profit & Loss (P&L) Statement and Balance Sheet.
  • From there, I’ll prepare your financial statements each month.
  • We’ll meet monthly to review everything and make changes as needed, so you’ll always know where you’re at financially.

Depending on your needs, I can also:

  • Help with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Conduct deeper analyses to help you understand your finances better.
  • Teach you more about QuickBooks Online (QBO) and your management reports – what they mean, how to interpret them, how to use them for making decisions, and more.
  • Assist with payroll through a third party payroll provider.

You may need bookkeeping clean up or catch up if you haven’t done your taxes for a couple years (or maybe more), and now you’re afraid to go near them.
